Life of Virtue operates lifeofvirtue.shop. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and who we share it with. We collect as little as we can and we do not sell your information.
Information you give us
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping address, billing address and phone number. When you sign up for our emails we collect your email address, and your name if you provide it. When you contact us we collect whatever you choose to include in your message.
Payment information
We never see or store your full card number. Payments are processed by our payment providers, who handle your card details directly and securely:
- GoDaddy Payments — credit and debit card payments
- PayPal — PayPal and PayPal-processed card payments
Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your payment information.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records some technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type and version, device type, pages you view, and the site that referred you. This comes from cookies and similar technologies. It is used to keep the site working, keep your cart intact, protect against fraud and spam, and understand which products people look at.
Who we share your information with
We share only what is necessary, and only with:
- Printful — our print and fulfilment partner. They receive your name and shipping address so your order can be made and delivered.
- Shipping carriers — to deliver your order.
- GoDaddy — our hosting and commerce provider. Their systems process and store site and order data, and provide site analytics and security tooling on our behalf.
- Microsoft — our email provider, which delivers order confirmations and other messages we send you.
- Google reCAPTCHA — protects our checkout and forms from automated abuse. Google receives technical information about your visit for this purpose.
- Mailchimp — if you subscribe to our emails, your email address is stored there.
- TrustedSite — displays our site security badge.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
Marketing emails
We only email you if you ask us to, or to tell you about an order you placed. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Order confirmations and shipping notices are not marketing and will still be sent.
How long we keep your information
Order records are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting and customer service purposes. Email subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or opt out of marketing. Email info@lifeofvirtue.shop and we will respond.
Deleting your information may mean we cannot look up a past order for you.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies to keep your shopping cart working, remember your wishlist, keep the checkout secure, and understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site — the cart and checkout in particular — will not work properly without them.
Children
Our store is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
